Join us for an opening art reception featuring the original paintings of Heidi Nisbett, which will be on display for 6-8 weeks in the our taproom.
Heidi Nisbett is an artist and hiking enthusiast. She has a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Winthrop University. In 2018 she quit her desk job to thru hike the Appalachian Trail, keeping a sketchbook along the way. She found inspiration in the landscapes she hiked through, and has since made a career as an artist capturing the beautiful landscapes of Appalachia. Her work, predominately watercolor, is loud and vibrant, serving as a love song to her favorite locations. Her paintings depict the mountains with an attention to detail only obtain by one who is familiar with the land, having trekked across the labyrinth of trails multiple times, and paying acute attention to the native flora that pops up along the way.

The artist will be on site to discuss her process and inspiration. All artwork is for sale for the duration of the show. Prints will be available for purchase during the reception.
