Join us on Saturday, November 13 for the closing reception for the Blue Ridge Parkway art series. Artist, Heidi Nisbett, will be on-site to talk about her process, share more art, and will have additional items for sale.

About the Artist: Heidi grew up in the Foothill Mountains of South Carolina and currently resides in Charlotte, NC. She received her BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Winthrop University in 2015. After graduating, she found a passion for being outdoors and went on to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail in 2018. She has since hiked a number of other long-distance trails, painting and keeping sketchbooks along the way. In addition to being an artist, Heidi also runs the Blue Blaze Hiking Club, and guides hike-and-paint trips with Blue Ridge Hiking Company.
