In July of 2017, American Alpine Club Charlotte NC Chapter members, Tim Fry, Matt Swaim, and James Armstrong attempted to reach the Lotus Flower Tower, a remote alpine tower in the The Cirque Of The Unclimbables, Northwest Territories, Canada. The team bushwhacked in 56 miles, climbed the 1800' tower, and hiked back out. 

The AAC sponsored the expedition through the Live Your Dream Grant. This Q&A panel is a trip report of that adventure, and a how-to for others interested in planning expedition level outdoor trips. All ages and skill levels welcomed. Admission to the panel is free and will take place at Blue Blaze 6:30 - 9:30.
