Do you consider yourself an outdoor enthusiast? Put your skills to the test and go head to head with the best Trailheads in Charlotte! The Hiker’s Challenge is a 4 stage, single-elimination challenge open to all ages and skill sets. Participants will have to quickly and accurately complete a series of tasks before their competitors in order to move to the next round. 

More of a spectator than competitor? Sip on a pint of Blue Blaze beer, enjoy a plate from Killer Q Food Truck, and dance all evening long to River Ratz bluegrass. 

Day of registration and pre-registration sign-in: 12:30 - 1:30
Competition starts at 2:00!

Challenge 1) Lace a boot. Sounds easy right? Try racing against both the clock and other competitors.

Challenge 2) Fly fishing. The target isn’t as easy to hit as it appears!

Challenge 3) MacGyver a fire. We’ll supply you with tools, it’s up to you how you use them.

Challenge 4) Chug a Popular Tent then pitch one. Timing is everything.
