Yoga in the Dark & Food: Dr. Noodle

When not seeing can be helpful… Experience the benefits of blindfolded yoga with Metrolina Association for the Blind.

Yoga in the Dark utilizes blindfolds to not only create moving meditation, allowing one to unite mind and body, but also to heighten all other senses and remove any sense of competition. While these benefits are essential, MAB utilizes Yoga in the Dark to create awareness for the blind and visually impaired community.

Jessi Sauls will lead participants through a blindfolded yoga class from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on the Stewart Creek Geenway outside the taproom, depending on the weather. Admission is $5, and includes a beer. No registration is needed, but participants should bring their own yoga mat. All proceeds from this class will be going towards supporting MAB’s mission of helping those living with vision loss.

Dr. Noodle will be out serving flavorful, traditional Vietnamese sandwiches and stir fried noodles!
