During this workshop, you'll roll up your sleeves and learn to hand-build a wall plaque that after firing can be styled as a stand alone statement piece - or easily converted to be used as a washable chalk or white board.  You choose your words & decor style:  elegant and thoughtful,  or whimsical and fun!

You'll learn about the stages of clay, basic hand-building techniques, and experiment with textures, create relief areas through stamping, scoring, and slipping; as well as using custom design elements to reflect your own personal style. You'll also learn techniques for applying color with under-glaze on the clean, white earthenware.
